A lovely barn find, this is a vintage Porkpie Hat made of rabbit (Imported
Coney Fur) and was made by the haberdashery of A.D. Sanders Clothing in
Burlington, Kansas. The hat is size 7 (revealed behind the brim but not
photographed), and is stamped 3 XXX and represents the the quality of the
materials used in its manufacture (the more Xs the better).
Inside brim is stamped in gold in 3 areas:
(inside an oval) SINCE 1860 IMPORTED CONEY FUR (with a small Rabbit)
