Upgraded, 110 to Norton, Derby

The 110 to Norton is inspired by a local businessman. This legendary upgraded
hat is a customized version of a our traditional Derby. The 110 to Norton is
blocked slightly shorter than standard at 5". It has a flatter top which echos
back to the late 1800's. It will add a classic touch to your wardrobe. Our
legendary upgraded styles are built on discontinued, vintage Beaver Brand hat
bodies which we recently purchased. The unfinished hat bodies had been in a
storage shed for several years. Lil Grizz will re-block/reshape it by hand
using traditional non-mechanized techniques into this particular style. These
hat bodies had been sanded previously so are velvety smooth. Our legendary
upgraded styles are finished out with a hand-tied ribbon bow and a vintage
Always on Top satin style liner. The liners are white. This style dates back
several hundred years. It is appropriate for men or women as formal, business
dress, or casual. Our narrow brimmed historic Derby hats are perfect for the
wedding of the year. Or it could be the final touch to your personal outfit
when participating in a historical event. A Derby is perfect for a Historic
Timeline, Civil War Reenactment, Mountain Man Rendezvous, Pirate Festival, or
Renaissance Faire. It is just what you need to complete your Dress, Vintage,
Reenactment, Steampunk or Cosplay look.

Lil Grizz and Mizz Grizz block their fur felt hats without a blocking machine.
They use only traditional, non-mechanized pre-1800 methods. They use only steam
and the touch of their skilled hands to compete the final shaping of the crown
and brim. Because of this, each hat has a one of a kind look and may have
slight indentations or marks from the traditional process. Please do not expect
these hats to be perfectly rounded as they are not stamped out on a mold but
are methodically pulled into shape by the Grizz's trained hands.

The unique comfort sweatband is made of an absorbent material. It is then
covered with cotton cloth for a comfortable custom fit. It is designed and made
by Lil Grizz and Mizz Grizz.

Lil Grizz's signature pencil curl on the brim is not decorative. It
strengthens the brim in the traditional manner. It is necessary to maintain the
strength of the brim since we do not use a steam press, bind, or welt the
brim.... And don't worry about going out in the rain.... It is a working hat
and safe for wear in all types of weather.

Each of our hats are custom made to your specific head. We do not prebuild
hats to a standard hat size. We build your hat to your exact head measurement.
You will need to measure your head to the nearest 1/8". Use a sewing tape
