These hand painted porcelain pin holders appear to be both sugar shakers and
/or hat pin holders. They have multiple holes at the top unlike a salt shaker
with holes for stoppers. Other use is for ladies' hat pins worn back in the
early 1900's.
These are hand painted with a colorful floral pattern on white background.
The necks are gilded with a gold paint. The dark places on the holes on the
shaker left in the photo is wear on the gold gilding, not dirt. These are in
really nice condition but not perfect since they are a vintage item. Please be
aware of this before purchasing . They have minimal wear and no stoppers.
Stoppers can be added by you if you want them. Nice to use or just display.
