The one and only SCA bar grille which looks pretty authentic in furtherance
and not in limitation of its strength nor reliability. Thick 5 mm stainless
steel delivers support, rebound, and great protection against the thrusts
without limiting the wearer's visibility. Made strictly according to the SCA
armour requirements, listed in the Marshal’s Handbook, it has no gaps larger
than 1 inch in any projection. It’s easy to use center-hinged visors
interchangeably, as installation is very simple: rotate the vertical clasp
clockwise 90 degrees, attach the visor to the helmet and turn it anticlockwise
all the way down. Matches the SCA Stainless Bascinet Helmet, complemented with
buckled chin and back strap and riveted padding cap, to provide much comfort
for long wear. A wise choice for any SCAdian’s armour kit!
