King William IV Four Pence/ Groat 1836 Enamel Coin Conversion Pin, Antique Georgian Stick/ Stock/ Tie Pin, Enamelled Britannia Coin Hat Pin

DESCRIPTION: For your consideration is an antique novelty stick pin made of a
1836 Four pence / Groat coin. Britannia side of the coin has been enamelled
with vibrant colours. On the reverse the outline of King William VI's
silhouette is still visible. The coin part of the is made of 925 sterling
silver whilst the pin itself is made of gilt white metal which is likely
non-precious.

CONDITION: This piece comes in good antique condition with slight damage to
the enamel (the shield and a ridge of the encompassing blue circle). There is
also some age-related tarnishing to metal parts of the pin. Nevertheless, this
remains and attractive and collectible, if somewhat quirky piece of antique
conversion jewellery.

HALLMARKS: None, the coin is made of sterling silver and the pin part is made
of costume metal.

DIMENSIONS: The total length of the pin is approximately 71.5mm. The coin
itself measures 16mm in diameter.

PROPS/ BOXES: The props displayed in listing photographs are not included in
the sale and are for display purposes only. I will post this item safely and
securely using modern materials.

Germany or France due to shipping restrictions on jewellery and/or packaging
