"Stick pins were largely created and used during 1830 and 1920 for a
utilitarian purpose of fixing and holding a gentleman’s cravat in place, as
these were mainly made from slippery and weighty fabrics."

Condition: PRE-OWNED. ITEM COMES FROM PRIVATE ESTATE SALE. The gavels have no
apparent "brassing" the fine ornamentation is still clear, defined and not
worn. There is a small space on either side of each gavel for small initial
engraving if desired. Pins have very slight warps, but no bends, breaks, cracks
or visible damage, only fine wear visible under close inspection with 10x
magnification jeweler's loupe. Beautiful antique condition! Perfect for a
