This regal-looking stick pin has so many elements: at the top, a large,
spherical, highly polished black stone (onyx?). Next, a clawfoot type setting
with brass claws -- or petals, your call. Then, a ring of channel-set
rhinestones. Finally, a silvery "pearl" with a pleasing, uneven surface. All of
this beauty is perched on a 3.5" gold tone pin. The pin is capped with a brassy
stopper, which can be removed if you choose to use it as a hat pin.
We're guessing that this elegant piece is from the 1950s, but we could be
wrong; it could instead be a product of the 1980s, an era that loved decoration
and opulence. Whatever its age and however you choose to wear it, it will
surely add a wonderful vintage touch to any outfit.
Condition: Very good. The areas in between stones could use cleaning, if
you're a perfectionist.
