Early 1960s vintage natural beige Breton with matching grosgrain ribbon from
the Star Store, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Size 6-1/2. Interior band measures
21 inches (53 cm). Hat consists of woven synthetic material. Brim stands 3-1/2
inches (8.5 cm) in front, tapering to 2-1/2 inches (6 cm) in back. Hat measures
roughly 10-1/2 inches (25 cm) in diameter. Excellent condition.
Fun fact: Once one of the Whaling City's grandest department stores, the Star
Store operated from 1898 until 1985.

Near mint = very slight signs of wear
Excellent = typical signs of wear due to occasional use
