Antique Scandinavian Silver And Green Beryl Valkyrie, Brünnhilde? Hat Pin 4 1/4"

19th or early 20th century Scandinavian, possibly Icelandic or Finnish, silver
Valkyrie hat or stick pin with 3 small 2mm faceted green beryl bezel set
stones. I should note that these gem stones are likely green beryl, but it was
suggested they could actually be Uvarovite which is very rare to find in a
faceted form. The silver tested positive for sterling but is softer than
expected and silver content may be higher. The Valkyrie Brünnhilde is
frequently seen depicted in Scandinavian jewelry and artifacts and very likely
is represented here. This is clearly a handmade piece and something of a
mystery as we can find no other quite like it. Overall very good condition with
a straight shank, secure finding with some patina remaining after hand
polishing. Figural head is 3/4" in diameter and total length of pin is 4 1/4".
