Antique pearly sticks pins hat French Belle Epoque early 20th century

Lot of 5 pins hat imitations of mother of pearls, dating from the early
twentieth century.

At the very beginning of the 1900s, Europe was in the midst of the Belle
Époque, it was the milliners who created the hats and their accessories by
following the trends of Parisian haute couture. This is how Coco Chanel begins,
before going into tailoring. The hats of this beginning of centuries are very
large, trimmed with feathers and other sometimes delirious decorations, and
maintained by the essential hat pins. Pins Hat were also formidable defensive
weapons for women.

This set of pins are of good manufacture perfectly sums up the Chic of the
perfect Parisian of the time.
