Mourning Brooch Stick Cravat Pin

This little antique stick pin features a beautiful little girl and is from the
Victorian era. It is likely a mourning piece to commemorate the short life of
this little child. The pin stem has a curved, ridged design centrally which was
commonly found in Victorian era stick pins. Both men and women wore these stick
pins. Men usually wore them on their cravats and ladies wore them wherever they
wished.

The pin measures 2-1/4 inches long and the head of the pin measures 5/8 inch
across. The picture is in good antique condition with light surface scratches.
The braided design around the edge has a split but this looks to have been
present for a very long time, perhaps even from production. The picture is
secure in its mounting. Expected age-related wear overall with some darkening
of metal on the front. The pin stem plating is mostly faded off. This unique,
