This listing is for an antique hatpin cushion. This hatpin cushion stands
approx. 6" in height. There is an enamel half woman figure at the top. The
enamel figure is mostly white with blond hair having a blue ribbon in it. The
face of the woman is beautifully detailed and she has blue eyes and pink
cheeks. The base of the pincushion is made of a fabric on the outer layer and
an unknown inner layer of what feels like fabric also. The back of the figure
is embossed with " GERMANY". This word is very light and difficult to see in
the photographs, however it is there. This pincushion was originally used for
holding hatpins. Acquired it at an estate sale and was advised by previous
owner that it dated to late 1800's. Please view all photographs and zoom in for
