These were found in great-grandmothers' belongings and it took me a while to
figure out what they were used for, but recent research shows they are hatpin
holders. The covers screw on and I can find no makers mark on them. They can
only lay down on the vanity as the bottoms are rounded. Very interesting and
unique items. One cover does have two small dents and a bit of interior
corrosion, but the heavy glass is in great condition and both covers screw on
