This extraordinary, antique Victorian 1800's baby bonnet is just exquisite &
both displayable & wearable. The main bonnet body features stunning whitework
embroidery that matches the insertion medallion at the back center. A double
layer of narrow lace frills encircles the face & a wide, stiff,
almost-paper-like ruffle stands up around the brim & at the lower back. 6
stiffened loops of lace-trimmed organza/voile perch on the top of the head.
This needs no ties. Note the photos to see a very small, greyish mark on the
top of the ruffle and some dinginess on the ruffle in back. One tiny thread is
broken in one of the lace circles on the top back. The thread remains & can be
re attached.
Doll head is 17” around

Bonnet measures 10 3/4" deep from side, around the back, to the opposite side
(27.5 cm)
Bonnet is 7" high from side hem to top center (18 cm)
Bonnet is 6" deep from front side to back center (15 cm)
