1920's-1930's Bowler - Vintage Black Derby Hat - Quality Wool Felt - by Rogers Peet Company - Men's Size 7-1/4

Classic Vintage 1920'S-30's Black Derby Bowler.. quality stiff black wool felt
forming the classic derby bowl shape. Perfect black grosgrain ribbon edging the
rolled brim and a 1-1/8 black grosgrain ribbon wrapping around the base of the
hat. There is a leather sweatband that is in excellent vintage condition. The
satin lining inside the hat has a pleated detail and in the center the makers
name is printed on the satin.
This Derby is Very Clean and is in EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. There are no
flaws on the outside of the felt or ribbon edging. The leather sweatband shows
a tiny bit of wear along the sewn edge, but is completely attached and looks
great. There are a few light smudge marks on the satin lining.. none of which
is a big deal. There is a small mark on the underside of the brim. (see image
with arrow)
I am Guessing on this bowlers age.. It could be 1900's to 1930'S.
