Great vintage item! Very rare!
Original hat from about 1940 ( on my opinion, I am not an expert ) hat.
GREAT CONITION - OUTSIDE NO TRACE OF USE!
It is written in German language, but I will try to write in in English WHAT

Real leather inside and on it stamp A.Breiter - 1863.
There is no stamp for the size - I was expecting numbers, but there are two
metal logo leathers
One is "H" and the other is "L"
"Herren" us MAN on German, it means" for men".
The metal symbol "L" I don`t know what means. Maybe size L for the hat or
something else, because the stamp is only a letter.

The fur felt is noir black with a black grosgrain ribbon band around the crown
and trimming the brim. It has a leather hat band inside. Made by “Huckel” for
A. breiter. This hat is in great vintage condition with no holes, stains, or
odors to note.
Inside genuine leather.

Inside the periphery, the back layer of leather, when I was looking for the
manufacturer's logo, sees as a rubber seal, like a pocket that obviously has to
hold a thin, curling cork strip. There are only two pieces of it. I made a
picture you to see that. I guess over time it has shattered. I would describe
this as an endemic remark. The rest of the hat is like new.
The rubber inner coating under the periphery is like new.
- The inner glossy white fabric is like new and not stained.
All prints and inscriptions are bright and preserved. There is no deletion.
The outside of the hat is like new. There are no remarks or ANY trace of use.

I don` know the size, so I will try to measure it:

Inner circumference: 52 cm - 20.5”
Length (at longest point with the brim): 32 cm - 12.5”
Width (at widest point): 20 cm - 8”
Crown Height: 12 cm -5”
Brim Width: 6 cm - 0 2.5”
